                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER
                   INTO A CONTRACT WITH A FIRM YET TO BE CHOSEN
                   TO CONDUCT A SEARCH FOR A NEW CHIEF OF
                   POLICE AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED THIRTY
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to enter into a contract with a firm yet to be chosen to conduct 
a
       search for a new Chief of Police at a cost not to exceed Thirty
       Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00).
